Join us for this year's "2020 Bayou Lafourche Eucharistic Procession" Saturday, October 3rd, invoking the Lord's blessing in these times of difficulty and change. The procession begins at 8:00 am with a French Mass at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadow. We hope to pass by St. Joseph in Galliano at around 9:45 am, and Sacred Heart in Cut Off at around 10:15 pm. and Our Lady of the Rosary in Larose 10:45 am. The procession then departs at 12:00 pm by fire truck going up the bayou. We intend on stopping for about 10-15 minutes at Holy Savior in Lockport, St. Hilary in Mathew and St. Mary's Nativity in Raceland. We are anticipating to be at St. Mary’s Nativity Church between 12:30-1:00 pm. A “social distancing” gathering will be held under the crape myrtle trees in front of church to pray the rosary. We want to be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Thibodaux at 1:30 pm; we will then process down Menard Street by foot toward St. Thomas Aquinas Church, arriving at about 2:00 pm. There we will have outdoor Midafternoon Prayer on the grounds adjacent to the Adoration Chapel, concluding with Benediction at about 2:30 pm.
